Well, you're right, it does look like an "82. I thought there should be a plate on the back for the belt but not so sure now...my mind must have fabricated that. The material is for sure the cheap '82 junk. Anyway, none were very good. The '64 was the solidest. The WW2 types were far better for retention and protection. The '51 had a SINGLE loop in back at the front edge and the M1910 wire hanger which is why it was so bad.Information
