Has the one you're buying been rebuilt, or is it original?
The one you have is a 're-build; so, with the greatest of respect is a well executed Bubba.

Well...at least the cut barrel and hand guards parts of the Rem were the result of rebuild work. I'd pretend they were the initial original equipment but the handguard was a Westinghouse.
I have no way to tell if the Eddystone is a parts build, rebuild, or "original". Much like the 1903 Springfields after, in some cases, 110 years ony those with documentation of provenence can be said to be all "original" parts. I have about 90 1903 Springfields and have sold another 100 in the past and Im certain none were all original parts.
One last incident, this time in my favor...when I acquired the good unaltered 1918 Rem barrel I also bought a handguard. It was an Eddystone, but matched the Remington furniture nicely. After I brought home the Eddystone, I found it had a Remington Handguard and after switching the two found that both looked better with all the furniture being of matching manufacturer and similar colors.
