How about a B.A.R. sling? I had one of those for years and finally gave it away as no one in Canada could ever use it or wouldn't know what it was. If you check Ballou in "Rock and a Hard Place" you see he illustrates the single web sling for the B.A.R. is "24 inches longer than the standard M1 sling"...
