Willy's MB
I've just bought a WW2 Willy's MB Jeep.
One of my bucket list items!
It's in good condition bodily; but needs some mechanical work to get it running prperly.
Having been stored for several years.
I might be needing some techinical information, workshop repair manual etc. There's a lot of free play in the front and rear differentials. Plus I have the Solex carb to rebuild.
Looks easy to work on; but having the correct info is important.

MB Info
TM 9-803 (you can find it as a pdf if you search) would be a good start. Also TM-10-1513

thecj2apage.com has masses of information, advice, references, etc. Lots of data about MB, GPW, many other models. I used it almost daily when I was building my CJ2A.
Those interested in MB/GPW/CJ2A restoration will find endless videos, photos, how to, how not to on that site.

If it was bought in France
, is it ex-French Army, and if so, how much of it is Willys, and how much of it is Hotchkiss?
Just the thing for putting round holes in square heads.

It's chassis number puts it first week of January 1945. It's Willy's and I do not see any Hotchkiss parts or modifications.
I'm not an expert yet; but it all looks good from what I have read so far. I'll post a couple more photos.
