    I actually wonder if any were originally tubed. Tubing was so much more a repair technique rather than for new production. Just my thoughts.

    Well, those that still have their bayonet lugs were originally tubed. Those are the ones I like. They look like #4s.

    I have tubed a couple and they still have their bayonet lugs. Why would they be removed? In short original barrel, bored out and lined.

    You must be thinking C No.7Mk.1 Jim as all the Britishicon No.7Mk.1 and No.9Mk.1 rifles have bayonet lugs. Canadianicon rifles don't have them.
