C96 Holster
Found this at a flea market. It's an older holster for a c96 Mauser. It came with a shiny DWM marked reproduction clip and 10 rds of 90's production .30. I don't see any stamps, markings, or dates indicating who made this. Does anyone recognize this holster?

Some Chinese and maybe Soviet 7,62x25 can be found without headstamps, these cartridges would be too "hot"
for the Mauser M96 pistol. Original German ammo would be headstamped.
The holster for the M96, is it leather or wood ? photos not showing

The ammo is new production copper cased ammo, head stamped 93.
The holster is leather, flap covering, one clip pocket, with one leather belt loop. It is all stitched, with a brass riveted? button? for closure.

Check with a magnet, but if the cases are copper washed steel it is likely Chinese 7.62x25. As mentioned above, loaded hotter than would be prudent to fire in a C96. Peening of the bolt stop would be the most likely result. Wolf makes springs if you plan to shoot it.

Have owned the pistol for a while, just having a hard time finding the accessories...
I looked up the headstamp, it's tokarev food. Its been dumped in the loose ammo box for if I ever get a tokarev.
Now I just need a real wooden holster...
