Action Date: 1915
S/N: 21279 (4MD inventory number is 10189)
Barrel Date: 6 '37
Jovino import, all original except WWII-era bolt and 1937 heavy barrel (all parts attached to the barrel are also non-original). Probable factory conversion to a heavy-barreled range rifle, but current barrel has a damaged knoxform and mismatched serial number, suggesting either a hasty wartime local replacement, or an out-of-service replacement. No FTR marking on butt. Furniture is nicely varnished.
Action Date: 1940
S/N: B37911
Barrel Date: 11 '40
Jovino import, unmolested save for the removal of the magazine cutoff and stacking swivel. Original furniture is Queensland forend and handguards, and coachwood buttstock, all marked "MA40".
Do you also want info from the Lithgow No2 MkIV conversions?
