This is exactly why there are so many "corrected" carbines out there with fake parts. I have no firsthand experience with anything that RB sells, I never will. My decision never to buy from him is based off of what I have read and been told by carbine collectors that are far more knowledgeable than I am or will ever be. Like you said we all have to do what we think is best for us.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. When a business has say a pile of 30 to 50 type 1 sights, what would you call that? If he has almost brand new early dated barrels for sale. (some with signes of being refinished after being changed.) Bolts that are new with very rare marking. Receivers that are renumbered. Yes the owner of RB is very well known in the collecting community and to be avoided. Oh and the odds are your pin is fresh in from China along with new parts like rear sights. He has a pipe line there.
