The condition of this one leads me to think it was someone's truck/farm/hunting sidearm.

The ad is from 1958 and these sold for 19.98. They were listed as NRA Very Good at that time and for the most part any of these that have been listed for sale have been in very good condition.

We have yet to confirm another 38 S&W model to compare the cylinder as mine has longer flutes than any of the other calibers. It has been suggested this could be the 9mm that was sold to Norway but the only markings are appropriate for Belgium and Sweden.

I have one from pre-1893 (i.e. the cylinder only indexes when the hammer is cocked) made by Husqvarna. Fabulous little beast, and relatively accurate for what it is.

I should add that it is in the original 7.5 x 22R
