EDDYSTONE 1917
I recently picked up an Eddystone 1917 production date, 2/18.
All numbers match. Wood is in very good condition and bluing is around 85%. The barrel is original.
It was reconditioned at the Agusta Armory, and it's really 8n excellent shape.
I paid $650.00 for it. Is this a good price?

Without seeing pics, I'd say you paid about half of it's actual value. Now...let's have a look?

Thanks Jim! I feel better now after paying as much as I did for my Eddystone.

Evidently you got Hell of a deal. When I bought my Rifle, True Value showed under guns sold, with beaters in the $400 range with the high over $1000. Gun Broker showed a low of $800 and a high over $2000.
The way I look at it, you opinion is like bellybutton, everyone has one.

Not at all. When I posted that I paid $650 for my 1917 Eddystone a member said I paid Way too much. So, I posted what guns for sale were going for. I

I said you paid about half what it should have sold for...meaning you got a great deal.

Absolutely not. My rifle is in great shape and the $650.00 I paid for it was a decent price.
