Never saw one of these before - seller claims gas trap part

One original new old stock M-1 garand rifle early war and gas trap rear sling swivel straight from arsenal package,original darker parkerized finish. The screw hole is twice as large and the hump at base. Not a Gas Trap part. I believe that swivel is used on one of the M14 stocks, E2 ?. It should have a bushing used in it also.
