    That is a great tiger stripe! I just have one with the beech and another with the walnut. The gun I really like is my G11. Old school but with the Swissicon perfectionist touch.

    I was lucky to find it. However, the damage done to the end of the butt stock is unbelievable.

    It ain't like it used to be, but it'll do.

    It depends on how "deep' that discolouration goes.

    Check out the work of Mark Novak (Anvil) for lots of good pointers for saving wooden stocks without "bubba-fying" them

    Lots of excellent, practical info in Mark's videos.

    Thank you for that great video. I love how Mark calls it a "conservation project." That is the best description for most of what I do and correctly describes the goal of the project.
