JFK fulfilling his term as the US president he could have been a close rival to Roosevelts popularity during his term in WWII both these men were a sad loss

Maybe not to the Cuban refugee force that tried to invade Cuba with the promise of US air support... at the last minute, JFK refused to send it, and they were all killed or captured. BTW, many were armed with Johnson rifles supplied by Sam Cummings to the CIA.
