Hi All,
Just a quick comment about the apparent pitting. Those aren't actually pits they are raised areas. I think its aluminum oxidization. My money would be on it being stored somewhere damp as there is no signs of holster wear on the slide or frame. It also appears to me that the assembled gun was either never or very infrequently fired as there is no sign of wear on any of the working parts.

So what it needed then was a quick bead blast and anodizing like an AR receiver. I'm pretty sure there's a simple explanation for where it came from. The other parts are easy enough to get in Canada
... I expect someone will crop up with an identification before long. Might be worth asking the guys at Collector Source in Acton On. They don't have the cut up frames any more but they've seen lots of stuff, might have some insight.
