Latest for a while;
So had the base coat, coat of lacquer clear that's why it looks shiny or bits of yellow are showing they do on the carrier as I did not paint them because it will be hidden by the side skirts and earth effects on the side of the inner hull.
Close up of the breech end just have to put a little bit of oily type stains on the recuperators and glue in the 1/35 88mm Tiger II shell case plus I'll do like the Panther and have it being resupplied with ammo as you get a few in a packet 2 piece fiddly to paint.
Now for the tracks and running gear it'll be back in a while!
Forgot to say before it gets the cammo it has to have a layer of moderate hold hairspray so you can chip the colours off with water moistened Q tips but the base is protected by the lacquer finish as 90% of my paints are acrylic.

Update on Jagdpather
Still going along I've gone for a dusty look rather than mud, spare tracks done, done the main tracks just have to weather them, the wooden box in pic #2 I've just fitted so it needs sealing and weathering.
Bottom hull still needs front & rear weathered, cammo the wheels and weather them, side skirts are painted & weathered, tools & towing cables, still got chipping & washes to put on.
Then seal the model with a couple of coats of clear flat it's fiddly and time consuming but it will look pretty good when its all together.

Fini !
Done went with late Dec '44 onwards fresh build, unit unknown, dust effects with some mud affected running gear from crossing some streams or wet areas wear and tear minimal as its a pretty fresh for the battle field.
I've some L71/88mm 1/35 shells I got for the Koenigs Tiger so may put some on this ones deck as a bit of a diorama as with the Panther I did.
The King tiger I think will be a real challenge as I have the etched Zimmerit coating but if I put those panels on I lose the gear location holes on the sides and turret so will see, may have to do it the old way with putty.
Thanks for your time and nice comments' modeling can be very frustrating at times especially when small things drop on the floor!!!

Mostly because you can't see any more. The wife comes in to see you and Moggy flat on the floor with two pair glasses on and a flashlight...just you with the glasses though. Moggy would be sleeping.
