As Stevo explained, it's pretty simply to upload JPG images of under 100k in size directly for storage on MILSUPRS.COM.

You can also use the standard IMG tags used on every bulleting board and host the actually pics yourself someplace.

There's a feature uniquely available here using Thumbnail tags that make it easy for you to have your own hosted pics displayed as small thumbnails, but members can click on them to make them full size. It works just like IMG tags but using TMB tags instead.

New TMB (Thumbnail) Wrap Tags for Images ! (click here)

How do I upload or post images on MILSURPS.COM? (click here)

So, there's lots of options. Just read the threads in the Q&A - VBBS Bulletin Board Software (click here)

    Regards,

If at first you don't.....well, here goes again..

I pulled the LB target rifle down today and cleaned the dust. Barrel is marked LB and 44 and appears to be park'd as it is grey. Receiver is blued and also marked LB. The serial number appears on close inspection to have been 8XL16XX which would also correspond to the year...1945. Bolt cocking piece and body have three LB markings but there is and has never been a serial number in the usual place. Even the trigger guard and the wood are stamped LB. Condition is lovely with little wear. Still no pics....why does every forum have to be different? Like going to the debit machine and no two are alike!

    Dante,
If you're not having any luck with the pics I can post them for you. Email them to stevo@milsurps.com and I'll get them up this evening. Just make sure they're 250kb or less so they don't take forever to mail.

This forum is no different then CGN, or any other VBBS system "right out of the box"....

If you can display pics on CGN using standard pic IMG tags, then you can do it here exactly the same way?

I checked CGN and I notice your posting there under Dantforth with pics of this rifle (same serial number).

I simply clicked the "QUOTE" button and pasted the result here (eliminating extraneous IMG tages), so you can see it works the same as CGN. Click the Quote >> button at the bottom right of this post and you can see what the code looks like to post your pics.

BTW, just for demonstration sake, I changed the IMG tages to be TMB for thumbnails and displayed the same pics of your rifle below the first set of large ones.

If you're still having trouble, I'd be happy to call you on the phone and talk you through posting a sample pic .... contact me via PM....

    Hope this helps....

    Regards,
    Badger

    Quoted from CGN........

I do hope these show up. This late in the day is not good for me. I'll try. This is the "sniper" but really a target model I guess.
