Ammo Store Finds 30 Mauser and 7.62x25

Your "Interarms" box has 1948-51 Soviet surplus 7.62 Tokarev ammo in it...your decision on whether to call it 'Tokarev' or 'Mauser'.

Thanks, Jonny, I have not opened the box, so only went by what is on the label, in this case, 30 Mauser. I will eventually open the box, not sure yet if I want to get another box and keep this or not.

Eventually you'll run into someone who shoots that caliber so the ammo makes for great trade fodder. Some of the ammo I've found over the years: boxes of .244 Remington, Kynoch 9 X 57 Mauser, R.A.F. .30-'06, 9.3 X 74R, and .375 Weatherby Magnum just to name a few. I even found a bunch of 7 X 61 Sharp and Hart which had a modicum of success until the 7mm Remington Magnum came along.

I'm always buying this old stuff and I have run into folks looking for the odd out-of-production cartridge and help them out if I can. In this case I have been collecting the Tokarev and 30 Mauser to chronograph and document; I've lost count of all the difference manufactures and countries but do know I'v almost got two 50 cal ammo boxes full
