Thanks, Jonny, I have not opened the box, so only went by what is on the label, in this case, 30 Mauser. I will eventually open the box, not sure yet if I want to get another box and keep this or not.

I'm always buying this old stuff and I have run into folks looking for the odd out-of-production cartridge and help them out if I can. In this case I have been collecting the Tokarev and 30 Mauser to chronograph and document; I've lost count of all the difference manufactures and countries but do know I'v almost got two 50 cal ammo boxes full
