Ammo has been an issue at most places LAX ammo seems to be the only place with a good stock and while it is not great ammo, it gets the job done. I've been seeing a number of M1 Carbines floating around but is San Diego, they are still going for $1200.00. Since I work at the range once a month, I have seen a number of the Auto Ordinance M1 Carbine's (reproductions) .. found out Turners is selling these locally for $1100.00.
Tahnkfully I have a Type 3 FFL and COE so I am still able to buy ammo on-line, from those who will ship it to this commie state.
Grab or modify a M1 carbine in 9mm and shoot off the shelf 9mm Luger for 25-cents a round. Just as much fun and much less expensive. Ammo is everywhere.
I simply refuse to pay $1 a round for carbine ammo.
