@Blimey...
That doesn't look like any Hebrew letter of IDF marking to me.
Cheers.
The rifle is supposed to be a Hagenah capture from the British in the period 1945-1948 and pre-date the IDF. Could the marking on the butt could be a "Tav"? One of meanings of this letter is "Life or death" which certainly applied to Israel pre 1948.
The marking on the cuttoff block is obviously fake as well.
"TR" is wrong and I don't see a "T" either.
The over-stamping of purported numbers is probably just bubbas attempt at creating a "history".
Could be an Israeli conversion I suppose, but don't know enough about those to say. Certainly was never a British conversion IMHO.
What is 20✡ 06 suppose to represent?

“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”
Jonny - I got it from this website. Isn't it correct?
At a minimum - the letter (n with a stop on the left hand side) on the cartridge rim bears no resemblance to the letter you show in the picture (n with a stop in the centre of the two legs)
So, if one of them was a Tav then the other one isn't.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
