If you are referring to JMB probably not. When the French
asked FN for 15 (iirc) rounds of 9mm Para, JMB told them they didn't need more than 8 rounds.
Sauve was the designer of the double stack single feed mag we have in the High Power today.
As an aside, the ergonomics of the 1911 and High Power owe very little to JMB.- un-named US Cavalry officers and Colt designers should get the actual credit.

When you wife got pregnant was she still not your wife? When they double stacked the Bersa Thunderer .380 was it still not a Bersa Thunderer? When they double stacked a 1911 was it still not a 1911? If the major attributes of the pistol haven't changed other than the circumference of the pistol grip I fail to see how that changes much.
