Easy to acquire targets now, with fading eyes I like to use them too.

Haven't gone there yet, but I will. My only pistol currently rigged for a dot plate is the SIG P365 XL, but that has tritiums, so will stay that way. The business .223's both sport dots.

After a lot of trouble getting the dot tightly fixed on the plate, i rethreaded the screw holes to M4 and found fitting screws used by our technicians on their lathes and further tools. A little tiny bit too long, still, so I put a 1mm leather (didn’t have rubber or other soft materials) layer and tightend down the screws.
Seems to be the right solution.
With the exception of a few “Parkinson moments” on my side, the box of 50 went really great today. 15 metres. A few weeks ago, first run at 25, but I was not in great shape. Still…

And this is the 25 metres target.
