I think the 50 BMG and the 1911 ACP will be the longest continuous run of any weapons out there until we develop plasma weapons anyway.

The “Long Land Pattern Musket,” became the standard gun of the British
Empire’s land forces in 1722. Over the next 116 years, the original design would be altered, improved and eventually replaced by a percussion cap smoothbore in 1838. The "Brown Bess" had an enviably long run of its own.
