civil war bullets
pretty close to Antietam battle fields , cant prospect the park but there was fighting all around the area so these can be found at flea markets from time to time , in fact a 10 minute 4x4 ride i can get to a position where there was a confederate post overlooking the Potomac over looking Fort Fredrick watching for Union Patrols to cross over into Wv , i didnt prospect any of these

no way of really knowing , i had a much more extensive collection when i was a boy , they were far more easier to get for next to nothing back then , we use to play Monopoly with Confederate money ,back then it was worthless so as you know monopoly money has a way of disappearing , we had a stack of confederate bills ,so we just substituted with them , i joined the service , did my hitch , got out and spent a couple years in the Bush of Alaska , by the time i made my way back east my collection was no where to be found and no one owned up to it , along with a childhood coin collection ,,,,,,family
i had several with teeth marks , pumpkin balls , several cannon balls that would fit in your hand the rings around the bottom of the bullets are how to distinguish them from one another , i no longer remember all of that , they pop up at the Harpers Ferry swap meet every now again , usually a couple bucks a piece , i grab them instead of coming home empty handed
