    R-23600 would be right in the prime C3 serial number range.

    That type of Safety lever and bolt knob are the type that the CF adopted with the C3A1 rifle - possibly, someone has updated this rifle, or it could have been used as a trials piece.

    Not stating "1200tx" indicates that it's a military contract rifle - either an M82 or C3.
