Need Help
Hi from Nova Scotia,
I am trying to identify two slings. The first one pictured is 51" long, screw together button hooks on each end , leather laces on each end. One member here gave me a couple of places to start but I haven't been successful. I've attached a picture of the Button hoping someone might know 'who' may have used that design.
The second sling came off a 1915 Mk III. The swivels are what has me questioning if it is indeed a Lee Enfield. (last picture)
Thanks for any help you can provide. Very much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the second one is a Swedish
Mauser sling. The swivels are Uncle Mikes QD or some such. Have a look at this thread and see if you agree about the origin of the second sling?

do not think uncle mikes swivels , mauser rifles had QD sling attachments as far back as the Gew 88 if not older ,not always used but were available this looks like a old variant of them that uncle mikes sorta look like because the part that opens is smaller , i have some of the full size ones , UM added a screw feature , these look period , and i agree , first thing popped in my head was swede

The swivels just look like modern quick release type that I have on all my hunting rifles.
