L42 / L42A1 Transit Chest dimensions?
I’m looking to have an L42A1 transit chest reproduced. I responded to an older thread (“Any L42 transit case owners? I need some help...” https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=68890&p=536328) but it doesn’t look like my inquiry moved it to the top of recent posts so I’m asking again.
Most pics in the older threads no longer show up so I can’t see any diagrams/dimensions I did find a thread that listed the dimensions as 49 1/2"L X11" W X 4 1/2 D and constructed from 1/2" plywood.
Can anyone confirm the above dimensions, and if possible provide dimensional drawings (similar to the No.4 Mk. 1 T schematics on the forums) that they could share with me?
I would also like internal dimensions/locations for the divider pieces if you have them.
Thanks much in advance.
Ted
