Hard to see the Jap's firing as they used smokeless/flashless powder still would kick up dust however if they were up high in a tree or on a rock hard surface pinning them down would be damn hard not a very nice job.
Pretty stern stuff to get up close with a charge or a flame thrower such was their fanaticism better to die than the disgrace of being a POW?
