Spandau Gewehr 98 8mm Mauser - 1914 (eBay)
This seller on eBay is selling three Spandau Gewehr 98 8mm Mauser - 1914 Receivers. Must be Joe's buddy because I told him what he's selling is considered a firearm but he's set on selling them. The fact eBay hasn't taken them down in itself makes me go Hmmmmm.

Hmmmm is right. I had an original NVA AK47 mag pouch kicked off eBray because I showed a picture of it with loaded mags inserted. This guy is selling firearms and I'm willing to bet he isn't asking for FFL's or doing NICS checks. On eBray's website they're braying about their adherence to progressive issues.
"eBay is committed to making a difference on the issues that matter to our customers and shareholders in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas."
I wonder what they'd think if they knew they were actively participating in the "Gun Show Loophole"!

Good for him. If he gets away with eBay's ignorance, more power to him. He may very well know what his odds are of getting it through.
My buddy bought an Enfield "barrel" on eBay. It was pictured with the receiver, but he naturally expected that not to come with it. But it did! So instead of getting a barrel to restore an old Enfield, he got another Enfield that needed to be restored.

I wouldn't trust it. I've heard of too many people getting in trouble buying from sources in eBay. It would not surprise me if this was a setup-type posting.
