Text on the back of the photo says "STILL A SOLDIER -- Universal-International star Audie Murphy, the most decorated hero of World War II, still does his bit for national defense as a Captain in the 36th Infantry Division of the Texas National Guard. Go T Patchers! I did my AT at Camp Bowie near Brownwood, Texas as a member of the Texas state Guard, the old home of the 36th ID.
