I would encourage anyone to read We Were Soldiers Once and Young. Very compelling read. Joe Galloway and Hal Moore created one of the best books on the Vietnam conflict. The Boys of 67 is a close second IMO.

I read “The Boys of ‘67”. Ended it last week.
Really a great read!
The final part, about the aftermath and the damage the war left behind on those soldiers and their families, is really shocking.
It took me a few days to “digest”…
