Attention to detail 1/16th Tiger 1

This is what can elevate a model so it is pleasing to the eye but it is also a double edged sword.
I could have gone for factory finish but they become boring and the models look sterile so one has to take the time and effort to doctor them up to appear used.
Some are true masters at the game and their efforts make the model come alive as for me I try my best to emulate them trying different stuff.

Like the Pic#1 tracks here coating the grouser sections with polishing powder 1 piece at a time to simulate contact with a hard surface, already used European earth pigment on them.
So yeah its slow but I am hoping once I have all the filters/washes/pigments & matt finished it will look a treat plus going slowly lessens errors as it is a $380/Aud model not counting my time to build it.
I also put up my Pic#2 1/35th Easy Eight M4 as I left that one as per factory finish along with my Pic #3 1/35th Panther to show the difference.
The Panther crew one is from my 1990 Tiger 1 the other I modded so he is sitting from the Panther kit
