Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Looking at the Jeep steering wheel, I'm thinking that the negative was reversed.

Also note the snow chains on the other jeep.

    License plate reversed?
    Steering wheel reversed?
    All three rifles reversed?

I'm voting with negative reversed .
Maybe somebody smarter than I can invert the picture and show us what it looks like.

Not smarter just a little more familiar with the equipment.

Although very far from winter where they are I can see the chains being helpful on soft loose muddy terrain. A sort of paddle wheel effect.
