    Postcript News

New information I received from my sister in law regarding my brothers missing man formation conducted flying overhead as we interred my brothers remains into his grave at Karrakatta cemetery.

There is a picture (#4th one) of 3 of the Macchi's in my OP either coming in to land after the flight or just leaving to head to Perth.
Anyway I really thought it was something special they did especially when my brothers career was as Flt Sgt ground crew engine fitter and not a pilot.
The RAAF presented a huge picture framed of that group of jets and in it you'll see 04 leading and 08 to it's left well here is where it gets very interesting.
Aircraft 04 was mothballed before my brother passed away it was also the very last plane that my brother worked on whilst he was alive at Pearce airbase.

So they had that aircraft revived to flight status, so it could lead it's final flight leading overhead paying respects to the very last person to work on it, my brother.
This is straight from my sister in-law as they visited us last w/end with my brothers & her daughters who are adults now, so as I look at that pic it gets pretty foggy.
Terena told me in front of her daughters the picture is to come to me when she perches it but I know I'll hand it straight over to his daughters it belongs to them.

34 years Baz and it still hurts.
