Express 870 Models use sintered iron parts. (Read the Rem website). The older Wingmaster and Current Police models use forged parts. They should be the extractor, maybe the firing pin. The best is too check Brownells catalog or call Rem's customer service directly. Try www. RemingtonLE.com for a start. The phone number is on the website. Beware Rem parts from Rem are sold a RETAIL prices and are not cheap. Check Brownell first before you buy from Rem.

Expresses aren't bad guns for the intended use.
Make very sure if you've been hot and sweaty and handling the gun (or handling it, period) to wipe it down. Silicon cloth or even better, a Tuf-Cloth from Sentry Solutions.
I had an 870 Express get rusty from a forgotten wipedown one day...never again.
Tuf-Cloth held up to extreme humidity when i was downrange (went hot/cold/hot/cold and had some serious light rusting issues with my M4 and my M9) with only a single wipedown, since it bonds with the metal.
