Is that an Aussie theme happening with the felt hats, chap on Rt seems multi armed with a M1
carbine and what looks to be a Thomson with a stick mag slung on his left shoulder.
I ran around with a bren when a cadet in war games I foolishly thought it would be cool that's until I picked it up was a tad heavy for a 15 y/o but I did get a few of the enemy!

They appear to be Ghurka's to me. The bush hat was standard issue in Burma.

I wonder if these are some of the troops Uncle Fester (Jackie Coogan) dropped off while he was flying with the 1st Air Commando Group?

Second man from right seems to have a Burmese Dha in his belt, would give more reach than a Kukri. Here's mine...
There were Burmese Gurkha's.

Far as I know. The Nepalese and Burmese Gurkha's were not related as far as I've read.

Interesting, then Dha would be his national weapon. They equated a Katana and I watched a bladesmith making one. Even though his lecture was native language you could understand what he was referring to while he demonstrated. Properly used, would give the Samurai a handful on the field.
