Parker Hale M82 Serial number.

Hi

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

I have an M82 with a 7.62 Nato barrel, proofed to 20 tons. The serial Number is R (underscored) 18606. The stock spacers still remain, it has a steell floorplate and trigger guard. It is fitted with PH Target sights. I have not removed the barrel action from the stock to look for a date code as yet.

Can anything be deduced from the serial number?
