Italian M1 Garand book "Il garand in Italia 1951-1996"

    Good Day All,
There has been a renewed interest in the Italianicon M1icon Garands. The authoritative book on the subject is "Il garand in Italia 1951-1996" by Ruggero Pettinelli.

It's the comprehensive book for collectors and those wanting to understand the developmental history of the Italian M1 Garand rifles and sub variations including the TIPO1 and 2 , 7.62x51mm conversions, snipers, and accessories.

This hardcover book is full of both color and some B/W detailed photograph and drawings. The narrative is in Italian but its 143 pages provides insight into the various Italian M1 rifles designs (including the M1D's), ammunition, accessories, and more. Modern translating programs are a great help, but the pictures alone speak volumes.

The book is currently unavailable in the US from on-line sources, so I coordinated with the author, worked through the process, and brought into the US, a small number of copies for shooters and collectors.

The price is $123 (shipped via priority mail). Payment is FF PayPal, USPS MO, or check (shipped after it clears). Please post your "I'll take one" and follow it with a PM containing contact email and address.

    Best Regards,
    Mike

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail.
