    Zastava M88A

This is my upcoming anniversary present from my wife. After 30+ years she's given up and basically left me pick my own gift, although she did actually suggest this after I casually mentioned it while watching TV last night.

So it is not in hand yet, will likely be several weeks. I can't find a lot on them. Seems to have had a very short service history despite being an all round good handgun. Reviews are very good, the kind I like anyway as I'm very opposed to the vast majority of modern plastic handguns.

My biggest issue is a holster for it as I like proper holsters. I can't even find a reference to them. It is said to be a Tokarev in 9mm but it is a little smaller. Looks like 3/4-inch shorter barrel and a little shorter grip as well. Holsters just seem to have skipped this one.

Only one other mention of them here and nothing about a holster there.

I'd like to find one before I get it if possible along with a second magazine. Any info anyone has would be appreciated.

Atlantic is who is selling them. They also have them in black plastic grips for $20 less. I like the wood better.

Looks like they put a 39S&W slide on a Tokarev pistol frame. Looks like the sights are plain enough for we with poor eyes though.

I did find a reference to a holster. Apex had them a while back. Out of stock now. Looks like a Tokarev holster. Magazine’s are easy. Zastava sells them. Couple others have them as well.

Wonder if Tokarev holsters would fit? I guess you'll want the correct one though... There are nylon and kydex holsters but the Yugoicon leather one would be nice.

Interesting, because of the games the Gubment's are playing Apex is blocked and I can't even look at it...nice...

It will fit in a Tokarev and they are easy enough to get but I'd like the leather one made for it if I can find one.

These are available but also generic and not early.

And this is the Apex holster when they had them.

Yes, original...and the Yugos made EVERYTHING out of leather until recently. The original holsters in good shape look nice.

Picked up the pistol from Mike today. It's in pretty good shape, has some wear marks but most of the finish is there, bore looks great. I really like how this one feels. Now it gets put away for three weeks. It's an anniversary gift from my wife. She is such a good shopper for me, LOL.
