    M1905 Bayonet serial numbers lists/charts

    good day,
does anyone have a list of the Springfield/RIA M1905 serial numbers and/or the charts that show the high and low numbers for each year stamp? I have C.S. Ferris's book,Rock Island Rifle Model 1903,that has a chart of Rock Island's high and low observed numbers for each year.
I have a 1913 dated bayonet that is a few numbers lower than what is shown.
    thanks, Jim

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. So, according to Brophy... 1913 seems to have started with 234,212 and they made 40,609. Then they just list the number of bayonets made without serial until 1917. That's RIA. If that doesn't help tell us what the number is and I can see if it falls earlier.

Matter of fact, here's the list according to Brophy...

Thanks, I do also have Brophy’s book and saw the same. Just hoping there might be more out there.

Is this not the combined total between Springfield and Rock Island?
