Some facebook groups appear to have some strange rules about who can post, comment and when. When I tried to join a certain fb group recently, after being emailed and notified that I could now post and comment in that group, I found that any comment that I tried to make on a post was automatically declined. The rules on joining had said something about having to wait 3 days before you could comment on a post but I was subsequently informed by email and notification that I could post and comment. When I tried to complain about why I was told that I could post and comment if I can't, it would appear that I have been blocked from that group.

I get that but my first post was just the photos and asking for information, the second the next day and was my thoughts on what they were. They allowed up to 5 posts for new people. I think I just got caught up in the spam mess. The problem is, I have no means to challenge them on it or let them know it happened. I am completely blocked from even seeing that the group exists.
I did send a message to the administrator from my other account this morning so hopefully that will clear things up.

These are really nice you guys
Seems you can feel the ancient history behind them.
Though the thought of collecting them never crossed my mind.
Thx for posting.

I have been left back into the group but the administrator seems sceptical and I can't post anything yet. He doesn't seem to like that my settings are private, I have but one photo and no friends that he can see. I follow several politicians, my local reps, and those discussions have gotten out of control with them insulting my family, etc which is why I have them set that way.

It's just a thing about foreign weapons to me. I always wanted a Zulu Iklwa and a Maasai lion spear. Well, time comes to pass, not sure when I was down near Windsor On I could have found such things... Some just fell into my hands.

Watched that Ed Stafford the other night, I think he was in Namibia ?sp
Super dry conditions, made a really nice bow and arrows over a fire like the natives would. Impressive how he moulded it straight over the fire. Used IIRC animal ligament to make the string with. Stayed inside a rock cave that had cave paintings, who knows how old. Found water from a root that linked to what looked like a water balloon under ground. Either talented man or just nuts.

When my family returned from living in Australia
in 1914 among the souvenirs were a number of Aboriginal spears. Sadly these somehow got "lost" prior to WW2 in a house move and the only item that I have left now is an Aboriginal hunting stick, a bit like a truncheon, which I have shown here previously.

My solution to the problem that I was having was to find a similar fb group to the original one that I wanted to join.
