Grooved 03 triggers
I have two styles...a thin profile and a thicker profile.
Can some one please tell me what the difference is?
Also what is the importance of a 3 digit number on the top of an 03 milled smooth buttplate?
Thanks,
Mickey

To my knowledge, and others here are more expert,:
Early SA/RIA triggers were thin with no grooves ~1903-1910
SA/RIA triggers ~1910-1918 thicker grooves
SA/RIA triggers ~1917-1921 were thicker with no grooves
SA triggers 1921-1940 were thicker with grooves
Rem and SC were thicker with no grooves

The three-digit number you mention is probably a rack number.
