Hi guys I have posted this question on the CMPicon forum also.
I have a WWII Dated 1944 websling that still has the salvage tag on it. I'm trying to determine where this is and if there was a battle there. And I know you history buffs can help!
The tag has alot of creases in it so kinda hard to tell if the writing is correct.
It says:
Shig or Shing Guam I believe.
