    janzens notebook , p219 , no1 , remington model 1889 for the rolling block , mostly export - mexico used them , but our navy had some and some state militias ,

    the scabord is diferant than what they show tho , actualy it matches the one shown for mexico p142 , no2&3 , mexican m1899

    Help ID This Knife

    Just checked Cunningham's 20th Century US Bayonets. I thought it could be a Lee Navy 1895. Says it was very similar , to the exports to Mexico, but I guess no hook. The scabbard I do believe is a 1895 1) belt hooks, 2) I have seen an 1895 in the same scabbard. Don't know for sure. SKIP
