Installing Front Sight
SA standard .45 Millet fixed sights were installed about 15 years ago, On saturday at the range the tendon cracked and the front sight flew off to be lost forever in the grass. Brownells has a replacement that must be peened/staked in place. Anyone ever done this or know a smith who is capable. Thanks,

Installing Front Sight
I need to install a GI front sight in an ITHACA. Will I need to use a peening fixture? Thanks.

several available on the market, for a one time job, i wouldnt spend big bucks,
then one i have cost well over 300.00 at Brownells.
you can get one for about 50.00 that will work just fine on GI fronts.

Installing Front Sight
Sir, Appreciate your reply. I'm not in the front sight installation production business and might never have to do this again. I'll PM you. Regards- Jim.
