where to locate the..
drawing and technical information on the 17 ejector?
Am taking an FEA course, thought one of my projects, would be to analysis the
ejector and try to make a different cut for the spring end.

easy,
buy some spring stock from Wolff,
smooth out the inside area from the broken end,
cut 2 notches to match the outside edges of the coil soring, shouldnt be longer then 1/8 long..and not super stiff, not supper soft..juuuuuust right.

Some folks have used the spring from a ball pen with success, but I prefer something a bit stronger, though not by much. The original design was not one of the great ideas of the 20th century, but is in line with the British preference for leaf springs over coil springs.
