The teflon coating was applied by BelgiumNavy .>30yrs ago i believe. Saw some discussion about it in Arms Collector magazine awhile back. A dealer in Vancouver brought a whole bunch of them in 25 years ago. i agree not factory original, but authentic and "keepable" (I don't like collectable, that means I can't shoot it). The extractor on the Inglis doesn't look like the one on recent production Browning. Nothing broke on pistol, but I like having a spare of some parts.
