In the Garandicon match at the Eastern Games I used my as issued SA. I took a gold and 3rd place with a 289 5X just behind a 289 8X. I also shot the Garand EIC, with a 380/400, nine pts higher than the EIC winner. No points for me, I got them at last years games with a 365/400.
I went on to finish 6th overall in the Garand/Springfield/Vintage 900 ag. I was very proud to be in the top ten out of 182 shooters. I took a gold with the Garand, gold with the 1903, and a silver with a 1917 Eddystone.
I can't wait for Perry. Maybe I can do even better. See you there!
