So I can't spell, so what!!!

Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
because 2 coyotes would have had her for lunch, and maybe even 1, they are quicker , more agile, have better endurance & have fought for their food their entire lives. 2 or more coyotes know how to hunt & fight as a team in taking down larger prey.
Neighbors of ours (when we still lived on the farm), didn't believe in guns or hunting, and coyotes would lure their dogs off the porch and kill them. You might want to keep a rifle or good handgun handy & next time pop the coyote.

A coyote will only fight a dog that size if forced to. They are not stupid (get hurt for no gain) and these must be well fed anyway. 4-5 maybe but only if starving.
While working the late shift in a welding shop next to the Huron Rivewr in No. Ohio we had 2 does wander right throught the shop. We were working less than 50' away![]()
Thank you Gimp,
I have had friends whose dog has been attacked as you state. I am some what nervous but we have a lot of wild animals around and it is not uncommon to see 2 or 3 coyotes in the backyard. Sasha is a little smarter than she looks and knows when to pick her fights. But generally speaking I believe Dave is correct. A coyote will suffer some serious hurt when taking on a dog of Sasha's size, even if there are several of them. As long as there are lots of mice to eat they won't attack.
