    Greetings,

Long time reader, but first time posting since the move from Culvericon's old site. Been collecting 1903s, Krags, and European sporting rifles for many years, and using the same screen name on the various gun boards. Just want to say "Hi" to everyone.

It also happens to be July 14, so Happy Bastille Day to all your Francophiles out there. Say what you want about the Frenchicon, at least they know how to deal with despots when they put their minds to it.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... New Guy with US Milsurpitis

    Hello, everyone.

Have been ghosting on this thread to pick up tips.

Just started collecting US Milsurp rifles.

Will probably ask a lot of foolish questions - but will try to search first!

    Thanks to all in advance.

    Hello all.
I have been a long time collector of original medieval military items such as armour and weapons but in the last few years I have been branching out into more modern things to have a more complete view of how arms and armour has evolved over the centuries. My interest is still in armour (helmets) and weapons (rifles) though. I am particularly interested in WWII rifles. I presently have a 1944 Kar 98k, a 1943 Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk.1, and two Mosin Nagant 91/30s (a 1931 Izhevsh Hex and a 1938 Tula Round). I also have a Springfield M1icon Garand and an Inland M1 Carbine on order.
