    Question Trick to Removing Safety??

What's the trick to removing the safety? The instructions I have make it sound easy, but I can't figure it out.
    55) Rotate the safety to point to the rear of the receiver. Insert a small tool to depress the safety lock plunger.
    56) With safety lock plunger depressed remove the safety.
If I rotate safety to the rear, I don't see any way to depress the plunger. If I only rotate the safety half way I can get a small tool past the safety to depress the plunger, but the safety doesn't seem to want to come out.
    All suggestions welcome.

I will say it again - removing the safety requires only turning it so the thumbpiece is down, then pull the safety straight out. A look at the cuts in the safety shaft will show why that works. Getting the safety back in is when lock pliers work OK.

Now that I see how it's put together, I'll try that next time. Since I wasn't sure what was inside the housing I didn't want to put too much force on it.
    Thanks.
